We're are thrilled to welcome you to Jefferson Elementary, where our students, staff, and families come together to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment. Located in the heart of central Stevens Point, Jefferson Elementary has been a cornerstone of the community for many years.

At Jefferson, we proudly serve approximately 270 students from 4K through sixth grade. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere where students can thrive both academically and personally. 

Our school mantra, S.O.A.R., represents a belief that all students should be Safe; take Ownership for their actions; display a great Attitude and show acceptance, and Respect themselves and others. Every person at Jefferson strives to create an environment where students feel safe and accepted. Jefferson School helps develop responsible school citizens by using Positive Behavioral Intervention &  Supports (PBIS). We focus on several big ideas:

1. Students need to be taught and practice behavioral skills to be successful.
2. Students need to be recognized for positive behavior and coached to improve
behavior that falls short.
3. Behavioral data is necessary to adapt to the specific needs of students.
4. Student needs are at the center of decision making at Jefferson.
